At the Sanctuary

Yoga @ the Sanctuary

Calm the mind. Release the tension you’ve been holding.

During the warm days of Spring and Summer, we are lead through yoga class with a short meditation. Lay your mat directly on the Earth among the wildlife and enjoy the peaceful, natural setting. Following, enjoy meeting our animal residents and learning their stories. These classes welcome everyone - beginner to seasoned yogi!

Sanctuary Visits

Come hangout with us! We welcome individuals or groups. Join us on a little walk-about with a chance to meet our animal residents, learn their stories, lots of fun facts, and have an opportunity to connect with them on an individual basis. Pre-scheduling is required for all visits.

Camp Compassion

Kids learn about and practice the Circle of Compassion. Exploring how to focus on their breath and listen to their bodies. Among their peers and through interaction and observation with our animal residents they learn how to treat all other living beings with empathy and compassion. All while being in nature.

Camp Solutionary

Kids learn how to be Solutionaries by identifying inhumane, unsustainable or unjust systems within our community, and developing solutions to transform them that are restorative, healthy, and equitable for people, animals and the environment.

School Visits

A guest presenter can often be a special treat! We enjoy visiting classrooms; teaching tools that foster empathy, critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and compassionate action for animals, people, and the environment.

Farmers Market

June thru September, stop by our table and say “Hi!” at the Cashmere and Leavenworth Community Farmers Markets! We are the Kid’s Education Booth and always have a new, fun, educational activity for the kids, and often adults like to participate too!
