Imagine a world where compassion is spread between humans, animals, and the planet. At Camp Compassion, we help children learn to make that world a reality. Campers will learn how to take care of R2R’s animal residents, be introduced to mindfulness, practice identifying their emotions, and spread their artistic wings with creative thinking and drawing activities. Along the way, they will discover their own circle of compassion and learn how to spread kindness anywhere they go.

Slots for camp are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. After completing the form below, you will hear from a member of the R2R team within one (1) business day at the email you provide. If you are offered a space at camp, you will have three (3) business days to complete payment and the required forms, or you risk losing your child’s spot. Please check your spam folder if you do not see an email in your inbox.

Scholarships

With rising costs of everyday living, we understand times can be challenging, but we never want cost to be a barrier to attending summer camp. As a result, we are pleased to offer four scholarships for our camps this summer for those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate. To apply, please have the camp participant write a short summary or paragraph sharing why R2R’s camp is important to them and why they want to attend.

We encourage applicants to write from the heart and share their story. Scholarship candidates will not be judged based on spelling, grammar, or sentence structure.

To apply, email anna@ridge2river.org. Please make sure to include the participant’s age and desired camp (Camp Compassion or Camp Solutionary). The deadline to apply for a scholarship is May 31st, 2026. All applicants will be notified of their status by June 7th, 2026. *Please apply only if needed.
