A Day for Giving

A word to the wise

Human consumption is destroying our mountains, rivers and sea

It is causing our forests to burn and oceans to rise

We need to make a change, on this fact all scientists agree

This year Avian Influenza has taken its toll,

It has cost millions of lives and prices to rise

When you imagine your legacy, is this really your goal?

A thanksgiving plea herein lies

Lets not focus on our own wants and desire

And the pain, death, and suffering it brings

Let’s give thanks by taking the road that’s higher

Choosing love and compassion for all living beings
